What People Just Like You are Saying!
DeeDee Cooper is an engaging speaker who, through her personal story, does an excellent job of humanizing domestic violence victims and demonstrates that even women who appear strong and "together" may be suffering in silence. She also leaves her audience members with concrete action steps to assess their current and future relationships, as well as strategies to help their friends. The "Have You Been Hit By Love" presentation was a great way to start dialogue on our campus and to kick off a week full of sexual responsibility-themed programs.

DeeDee Cooper takes the “taboo topic” of domestic violence, of which she herself is a survivor, and peels back layer after layer to reveal openly how she lost herself for years because of an abusive relationship. Her message empowers and inspires students and teaches them to recognize the signs of an unhealthy relationship. Her sincere, caring and authentic approach brings life to those who are in the shadows of darkness. I encourage YOU to invite HER to your campus!!!!

Having DeeDee Cooper come speak to the students on your campus is important because she has a message they need to hear! The students that heard her message on our campus were definitely impacted.
